CANADIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS
Axe Throw
Similar to throwing darts but on a larger scale. The
contestant stands twenty feet from a target of four inch thick,
concentric rings with point values starting at five (bull's eye)
and diminishing by one as you move out. The contestant throws
three times, adding the score from each throw to achieve his final
score.
Underhand Block Chop
Obstacle Pole Bucking
Contestants start at the base of a log, run across poles,
lying across the rolling pond, return to the starting point and
then saw through a log. The time stops when the first chip hits
the ground. The top six times will be back again on Sunday competing
in the finals. Combined times for both days determine the winner.
