1. All entries must be received no later than JUNE 1, 2008. Late entries and changes on show day will be subject to a $10.00 surcharge and we will not be able to guarantee you a block or position.

2. In order to qualify for events, contestants MUST pre-register between 5 - 8 pm on Friday, or before 8 am on Saturday with preliminaries and eliminations starting immediately thereafter. On the Friday, pre-registration will be in the foyer of the Tamarack Motel. On Saturday morning, pre-registration will be at the registration tent, at the North Saskatchewan River Park.

3. All competitors are required to be members of the Canadian Loggers Sports Association (CANLOG). Memberships are available at the registration tent.

4. Contestants may not enter a division lower than their current rating in any event.

5. Sawing wood will be pine. Chopping wood will be aspen/ polar.

6. The saw will be provided for the saw challenge.

7. All axe heads must be pinned including throwing axes.

8. Safety pants and chaps are mandatory for all chainsaw events. No shorts or sweat pants while the show is in progress. Shirts must be worn.

9. The show will not be delayed for contestants sharing equipment or clothing.

10. Power saws are not to run during show except for warm-ups prior to their event. Wood will be provided for practice. Competitors taking competition blocks will be disqualified.

11. The decision of the judges will be final in any and all matters pertaining to the contestants and the CANLOG Show Rules.
